Jen and Hasta Be Movin – 2020

Hey Y’all!! I’m Jen.

Born and raised in South Carolina, I am now a Midwestern girl with a Southern accent, living and horsing around in Neenah, Wisconsin. I have been passionate about horses since my first exposure at the Union Fairgrounds when I was just an 8 year old little girl. I then traded my poop shoveling and stall cleaning talents for the chance to ride and have been actively hauling to barrel races, chasing cans, training horses, attending clinics, and racing rocket donkeys ever since. On a competition level I began barrel racing in 2005 and have been blessed with many ribbons, trophies, buckles, saddles, and checks at both the state and regional level culminating in 2011 at the NBHA World Championship at Perry, Ga.

Once in Wisconsin I was welcomed by the friendly group of racers, got to know the arenas and competitors, and it made me want to teach others the art of can chasing and welcome them into the “family” of barrel racing. My experiences and knowledge will be shared in a championship level training program at my farm Shady Acres.
